Rachel is such a talented, thoughtful, friendly, and compassionate photographer! Leading up to our engagement shoot and wedding she had us complete a questionnaire that helped her get to know us and our style better. She was flexible with our locations and wardrobe and helped make us non-models look cute with her posing suggestions. She captured a great mix of candid moments, poses, and stylized close-ups during our wedding day.
All of the pictures she shared with us showed everyone with a special glow around them... and depicted the entire wedding day as magical as it felt!
Looking for a photographer who deeply cares about people, has a great eye, and knows how to capture a moment and essence? Rachel Schrock Photography's your best choice.
Not only is Rachel a dear friend, but she is also an incredibly talented photographer, so it was a no-brainer for her to photograph our wedding. Our plans had to change a few times due to COVID, and Rachel was flexible, professional, responsive, and understanding throughout the whole process. She has an artistic eye that frames photos beautifully, captures intimate + authentic moments, successfully corralled our families for group photos, and delivered our final galleries (and fun extra gifts!!) quickly. I could not be happier with the final photos - they capture the joy of our days (we had two celebrations!) so perfectly.
Rachel has always been a pleasure to work with!! I have worked with her on two separate occasions and during both sessions, she was professional and very organized. She picked out the perfect location for our shoot and from the moment I reached out to her to the day of our shoot, she was in constant contact with me to make sure we had a clear vision for our shoot. Rachel also made sure to arrive early to set up all of her equipment before the shoots. Her editing skills are phenomenal and the method of her online photo album delivery is always seamless. She definitely has a passion for her work. If I have the opportunity, I would not hesitate to reach out and work with Rachel again!
My grandfather is a photographer so I get this passion honestly. As a young girl, I would sneak down to his basement studio to play with his collection of vintage film cameras. I'd pore over shoe boxes filled with his photographs, printed and neatly organized by each one of his four grandchildren.
In my shoe box of photographs, I was captured mid-laugh playing dress up: sequin high heels and a purple feather boa swaying from my neck. Barefoot puddle jumping. A monarch buttery perfectly posed on the tip of my nose. Me smiling at the camera, squinting into the sun. Each moment told a story about my childhood and I explored, created, and figured out who I was in this big, beautiful world.
I knew my grandfather loved his grandchildren deeply, by the way carefully documented our lives.
